Push, cover, fade through, container transform, morph — the names for how one screen turns into another. — 8 entries

The incoming screen pushes the outgoing one off in the same direction, so both move together like one strip.

The new screen slides in on top of the old one, which stays where it is.

The old screen slides away to uncover the new one already sitting underneath — the inverse of a cover.

The old screen fades out completely, then the new one fades in while scaling up slightly. They never overlap.

Two screens swap while moving a short distance along a shared axis (X, Y or Z), showing their spatial or sequential relationship.

A card in a list grows into the detail screen. The same element transforms, so the link between the two screens is obvious.

When two slides (or screens) contain matching objects, their position, size and colour are interpolated automatically.

Two screens act as adjacent faces of a cube and rotate together to swap.
